thanksgiving was awesome. my parents came out. i didn't ruin the turkey. we were able to talk to indra. fun was had by all. i'll post pictures as soon as my mom sends me copies. :D

Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle and blows up a red ant bed.

we're all still battling the plague. cas is over the worst of it, zar is up and down, and my poor little fathom spiked a hell of a fever last night... she still has me worried. :(

Fathom has dicovered a great love for winnie the pooh. when the movie starts she gets her stuffed toy and sings "sih-ee sih-ee BEAR!" again and again while bouncing up and down.

it's freaking terrifying. the first time i had a child i was young and stupid and didn't know any better, and ended up with care like this and an overly-clinical and rushed delivery. hindsight is always so clear, right? luckily i knew more and did more research with my next two deliveries and they both went much better. but it's things like this that just make me want to rant for hours and then cry.

okay. all the carpeted rooms downstairs are very clean, just have to do the kitchen and the toy room. then we move on to the second floor. fall cleaning everything; it's too cold to keep the windows open and i hate being trapped in the house with all the dust and stuff. ick. every carpet on the first floor has been steam cleaned. even the couches. fun wow!

there's this pressure in my chest, almost like a nostalgia or a yearning... i feel it when i think of going out dancing, when i think of seeing indra again, when i listen to good music, when i think of seeing old friends, even when i contemplate... deep space. my soul says to me "yes! do this!"... but i'm stuck here.

i am apparently related to superman. not only did i re-arrange my living room all by myself; i moved both the couch and the loveseat with two children sitting on them enjoying the ride. *whew*

ooops. this is why i shouldn't let the kids play in my room. Zar is currently leading her stuffed animal around by a "leash"... in actuality a black canvas and velvet bondage strap... i don't have the heart to take it away from her, she's playing so nice.
